For those who've sourced electronic connectors from China: what's on your supplier evaluation checklist?
So far mine includes:
- ISO9001/14001 certification (verified, not just claimed)
- Technical knowledge test (can they answer insertion loss, plating thickness questions immediately?)
- Free samples within 1-2 weeks with test reports
- Production consistency data (Cpk, batch testing)
- English communication quality
What else do you look for? Any pitfalls you've encountered?
