🚀 How I Built LearnBeacon with SerpApi
Students often search across multiple websites for colleges, scholarships, careers and study resources.
I built LearnBeacon to bring this research into one place using SerpApi + an AI research agent.
🔎 What I learned:
• Live search data instead of outdated datasets
• One API for Web, Maps, News, YouTube, Jobs & more
• 30-minute caching to reduce API usage
• Source links for better trust
• Fallback data when the API is unavailable
• Not every query needs AI — a simple router decides when to use the agent
