We said we were just getting started. We meant it.
Vyomi's first promise: run AWS, GCP, and Azure on your laptop. Real SDKs, real backends, zero code changes — one URL swap.
You showed up. You broke things. And one line kept coming back: "5 minutes and an install is still an install."
A workshop of 40 laptops. A tutorial link. A "try it" button. A CI runner. All stalled on the same friction — download, unpack, boot, configure.
So we asked a reckless question: what if the simulator needed nothing? No install. No server. Just… a tab.
Here's the thing about a simulator — it doesn't fake the cloud, it mirrors the contract. Same wire protocols, same auth, same errors, so your real SDKs believe they're hitting the real thing. Behind it: real state, real IAM policy evaluation, a real SQL database. Not mocks that lie. Not shims that drift.
Then the twist — WebAssembly. We compiled the whole engine (CPython, the service cores, an actual Postgres via PGlite) to WASM. It runs inside the browser tab. No backend. No cold start. A relay tunnel even lets your real boto3 reach the sim running in your browser. The cloud, literally, in a tab.
