React Native Mobile App Developer

Hi! I’m Wajahat Ali Mir — a mobile app developer specializing in React Native. I build practical, polished apps that work smoothly on both Android and iOS. In this post, I’m sharing my portfolio, the story behind it, and the apps I’m most proud of.

👨‍💻 About Me

I love building mobile apps that people can use in real life. My focus is on React Native because it lets me create fast and beautiful apps with one codebase for both major platforms.

I enjoy:

Turning ideas into usable apps

Solving real problems with code

Learning new tools and patterns every day

My portfolio shows who I am as a developer — not just what I can do, but what I have done.

📱 Featured Projects

Here are some of the apps I’ve built that represent my work and growth as a React Native developer. For each project, I briefly explain what it does, why I made it, and what I learned.

🌟 FitBuddy — React Native Fitness App

This is a fitness tracking app where users can log workouts, track progress, and set goals.

Built using React Native navigation and local storage

Simple, smooth UI with easy navigation

Focus on usability and performance

This project taught me how to structure app screens and handle offline data well.

💬 Chatly — Real-Time Chat App

A lightweight chat application with real-time messaging.

Uses Firebase for authentication and messaging

Clean, minimal UI that feels native on both platforms

Handles message lists and input smoothly

I built this to practice integrating backend services and real-time features in apps.

🛍 ShopEase — Demo E-Commerce App

A sample online store app where users can browse products and manage a cart.

Shows how I handle lists, filters, and store logic

Works well on both Android and iOS

UI designed to feel familiar and intuitive

This app helped me improve how I think about user flows and component reuse.

🧠 How I Built My Portfolio

I keep things simple and clear. My portfolio isn’t just a list of links — it’s a snapshot of my work so far.

Here’s how I approached it:

I chose React Native for all projects because I want to be strong in cross-platform development.

For each app, I wrote a short description that explains what the app does and what challenges I solved.

I included screenshots and links to code so anyone can explore the projects.

A good portfolio helps others understand not just what you built, but why you built it.

👀 What I’m Focused On in 2026

As I grow as a React Native developer, I’m focusing on:

Building apps with clean and maintainable code

Improving animations and user experience

Learning advanced patterns for large-scale apps

I’m always open to feedback, suggestions, and collaboration.
