Disclosure: we build Waveleta. This post is about our own remote MCP server.
What you get
Waveleta Market Data is a remote MCP server at https://api.waveleta.com/mcp. Docs: waveleta.com/developer/mcp.
It is data only. With a Developer API key you can pull crypto tickers, ranked market signals, FX, commodities, and US equities history. It cannot place, change, or cancel orders.
Auth and pricing (live facts)
- Auth: Bearer token = your existing Waveleta Developer API key
- €2 free starter credit on a new key
- Then €0.002 per successful call (flat; not per-row)
- Top-ups from €20
Create a key at waveleta.com (no card for the free credit).
Why MCP instead of raw HTTP
If you already work in Cursor, Claude Desktop, or another MCP client, pointing the client at a remote URL is often faster than wiring a new SDK. Same prepaid key as the REST Developer API.
Example tasks the server is meant for:
- "What are today's top crypto signals?"
- "Show BTC/EUR bid and ask"
- "Get the EUR/USD reference rate"
Trading is a separate product
Waveleta also has optional Trading on top of the €39 plan (€19 add-on). That path uses trade-only exchange API keys and never holds funds. The MCP endpoint above does not trade. Risk: you can lose money when trading. See waveleta.com/trading.
