Challenges and Opportunities

Your key focus area will be to support the initiatives driven by UXM&P team by delivering solutions together with the team and contribute actively in the team sprints with code and best practices. You will interact with other departments within BT and ET&A in order to support the UX, Mobility and Portal aspects of their products and solutions. You will listen and be a sparring partner to our Business stakeholders to ensure that we deliver the best possible user experience for the end users.

• Focus on building reusable UI components that will form the building blocks of our new UX strategy
• Share the responsibility for solutions that are delivered by the team and make sure they are properly maintained and run
• Participate in projects and deliver solutions that are implemented accordingly to the design guidelines

Do you have what it takes?
To succeed in this position, you need to have a background in front-end development where you keep yourself up to date on all the latest technologies and frameworks that are available.
You are a team player with a positive attitude, particularly when problems arise, and you dare to challenge demands and suggestions to get to the core of an issue. Further qualifications:

• Front-end development experience
• Good Knowledge of JavaScript and different front-end frameworks like React.js
• Experience consuming REST APIs
• Can easily work with GIT
• Some exposure to AWS and/or Azure is beneficial but not required
• Interested in TypeScript
• React Native experience is a plus
• A degree in IT
• Fluent English in speech and writing
• Strong interpersonal skills

This looks really interesting. IMO the application wizard is too complicated and developers tends to prefer quick application forms
