Hi, I normally contract in MSBI, Oracle, .Net/.Net Core, focusing on a property platform at the moment. Have also been working hard on upgrading my limited company website too.
I don't know. My main databases are SQL Server and Oracle, and can pretty much tell them apart. If I was learning a new RDBMS, would it matter if the author had tried their best but hadn't said the database?
Another thing is - if DEV.TO detected all languages/dialects within a post, and generated the metadata/tags then this wouldn't be a problem. Not that I expect DEV.TO to do this but a lot of blogging platforms already does this.
Indeed, this is onto one of my gripes - people expecting standards to be followed when convention/metadata/automation can overcome it.
Each to their own, but will try to do this if I do anything on SQL.
