Small details A better research workflow

A research-material record needs to show more than where the files are stored. It should tell the next person what has been checked, which question remains open and what needs to happen next. A short action log can connect the product enquiry, order record and receiving notes without making someone reconstruct the story from separate messages.

Give the record a question to answer
Start before ordering. Create an entry in your team's approved record system with the exact listing name, its link and the date checked. Then write the question that matters to your next decision. 'Documents' is a folder label; 'Which document connects this listing to the material that will be supplied?' is a question someone can follow up.

Use the batch-record worksheet for the product, order, material and report identifiers. Keep the action log beside that record. It records the work still to do, so it does not need to repeat every specification or copy every document.

Use a log that records changes, not just the latest answer
The example below is fictional. Sample Q, its references and the team roles illustrate a record-keeping method; they do not describe a Clova Care product, report or supplier response.
