Hi Dev.to Community! π
Iβm a Computer Science graduate who recently finished my mandatory military service. While stepping away right after graduation slowed down my entry into the tech industry, it didnβt stop my passion for building software.
Now, Iβm ready to launch my career as a Frontend or Full-Stack Developer, but Iβm facing a unique challenge: Iβve been navigating my entire learning and career journey completely soloβmaking every decision and learning from trial and error without a mentor or peers to guide me, which has caused a few delays.
Here is a quick look at my stack and what I bring to the table:
- Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Redux Toolkit, Bootstrap.
- Backend: Node.js, Express, Mongoose.
Projects: Built several hands-on projects, including an e-commerce platform and bilingual web applications.
As someone breaking into the industry from a non-traditional timeline and without local mentorship, I would love to get your advice.
If you have any tips, resources, or advice for someone eager to make their mark, Iβd deeply appreciate your guidance. Letβs connect!
