Most spend months protecting their software, i didn't and now i regret it.
I started with Gogs, a self hosted github service written in Golang. And forgot to put protection in.
We have had 4 DDOS attacks along with an XSS, then glitch.com suspended my project for violation of the ToS.
My message is clear- don't release unsafe software until you know it is defended by an antivirus or something like that. You may regret not doing so
