Reflections from the founders of 2SD Technologies.
2SD Technologies was founded by a group of experienced technologists with one aim: to work as a real partner to our clients. That meant bringing deep expertise and working closely with their teams, rather than simply supplying people. That aim has not changed. What has grown is our understanding of what it takes to live up to it.
Partnership is a daily practice
Being a partner is less about what goes into a proposal and more about the small decisions we make each day:
- explaining a trade-off clearly;
- raising a risk early;
- staying with a problem until it is properly solved.
We have found that clients remember how a piece of work was done as much as what was delivered.
Different backgrounds make better work
Our three founders come from different disciplines:
- Simrandeep Sethi: leads the company, its strategy and growth.
- Dr. Yogesh Gupta: leads operations and delivery.
- Parvesh Kaushal: leads technology.
The best outcomes have come when those perspectives meet early, and when our wider team brings theirs too. We try to build that habit into every project.
Trust is built over time
There are no shortcuts to it. It comes from work that holds up after it is delivered, from being open about what we know and do not know, and from keeping our word. We are proud of the trust our clients place in us, and we work to keep it.
What we learn is worth sharing
Much of what we know, we learned from others: open-source communities, colleagues and clients who were generous with their experience. Giving something back matters to us. We now publish our thinking openly through articles and our "Don't just build agents" series. We have also opened a community space on GitHub and Discord where engineers, architects and anyone working with AI can ask questions, share their own experience and contribute.
Looking ahead
Technology will keep changing, and AI is changing it faster than most of us expected. Our aim stays the same: use technology to make a real difference to the people we work for, and help others do the same.
