My First App – A Journey of Discovery with Lucia

WLH Challenge: After the Hack Submission

Joining this hackathon was my very first attempt at app development. I had no coding background, but the moment I saw a video on X that sparked a dreamlike world, I asked myself—could I build something like that?

That question led me on a path of exploration. I dove into generative AI, created images with Midjourney, brought them to life with video tools like LTX and Luma, and even wrote a novel. Through Bolt.new’s no-code/low-code platform, I turned those dreams into an actual interactive app—Tears of Lucia.

I realized that this wasn’t just a technical project. It was a journey of self-discovery. I uncovered a hidden creative side I didn’t know I had, and along the way, I was reminded of the importance of supportive teammates who believed in my vision.

This experience gave me more than just a product—it gave me confidence, new skills, and a sense of possibility. If you’re new to building or just curious, start where you are. You may discover more than just code—you may discover yourself.
