I Built a Tool That Turns Any Idea Into a Printable Coloring Page with AI

Show me a parent, teacher, or anyone who's ever googled "coloring pages for kids" and I'll show you someone who's spent 20 minutes scrolling through Pinterest hoping to find exactly the right thing.
That's the problem I set out to solve with ColoringPage.live — an AI tool that takes any text description and generates a clean, printable black & white line art page in seconds.
The Idea
My daughter wanted a "dragon wearing a top hat." Pinterest had nothing. Google had nothing. So I figured — why not let AI do the creative work?
Turns out generating good line art is harder than it looks. Most image generation models output colorful, detailed illustrations. For coloring pages you need clean, continuous outlines, no shading or hatching, high contrast between lines and white space, and recognizable shapes at any print size.
How It Works
You type a prompt → AI generates line art → You download a PNG → You print it. No sign-up required to try it. Credits never expire if you decide to stick around.
What It's Been Like Running It
I launched on Product Hunt a week ago. Since then:
~500 organic visits/day from SEO for keywords like "coloring page generator" and "printable coloring pages"
Users split roughly 50/50 between parents and teachers
Most common feedback: "wish I could print in PDF" and "wish there were more styles"
Revenue is ~$30/day — enough to cover hosting with room to grow
What's Next
Multiple style modes: simple for kids, complex for adults, mandala, cartoon
PDF export for print-ready A4/Letter
Batch generation for themed sets
In-browser coloring tool
Teacher mode with class management
What I'd Love From You
If you try it, I'd appreciate your feedback on output quality, prompt flexibility, and whether the credit model feels fair.
