What I Built
PassionForge AI is an AI-powered web application that helps people discover, nurture, and grow their passions through personalized coaching powered by Google Gemini.
When I read the challenge theme Passion I immediately thought about the millions of people around the world who dedicate their free time to the things they truly love. Whether it's football, programming, music, photography, fitness, gaming, art, writing, or building side projects, passion motivates us to dream bigger and keep improving.
The problem is that many people lose momentum because they don't know what to learn next, how to stay consistent, or how to measure their progress.
That's why I built PassionForge AI.
Instead of being another generic AI chatbot, PassionForge AI acts as a personal AI coach that understands each user's interests and transforms them into a structured growth journey.
Using Google Gemini, the application creates personalized learning paths, generates weekly challenges, summarizes journal entries, provides intelligent coaching, tracks achievements, and delivers motivational insights tailored to each user's goals and progress.
The goal is simple: help people turn passion into continuous growth.

I wanted to build something that doesn't simply answer questions but actively helps people grow.
PassionForge AI was inspired by the idea that everyone deserves a personalized coach who understands their interests, encourages them, and helps them stay consistent.
The DEV Weekend Challenge provided the perfect opportunity to explore how AI can make that vision a reality.
Challenges
The biggest challenge wasn't integrating AI it was designing an experience where AI genuinely adds value.
Instead of building a basic chatbot, I focused on making Google Gemini part of every important interaction:

Another challenge was balancing feature richness with the limited time available during the weekend challenge while maintaining a polished and responsive user experience.
