Most online calculators are black boxes. You type numbers, you get an answer, and you have no idea whether it's right.
I kept running into this with loan math — every EMI calculator gave me a different number and none of them explained anything. So I built CalcProMaster, a free library of 1200+ calculators that show the exact formula and every calculation step.
What makes it different
- Formula transparency — every calculator shows the formula it uses, with the variables labeled
- Step-by-step breakdown — you see each intermediate step, not just the result
- No signup, no paywall — everything runs in the browser, nothing is gated
What's inside
- Finance: loan EMI, mortgage vs rent comparison, income tax, fuel cost, SIP returns
- Health: BMI, daily calories, body fat percentage
- Education: GPA, percentage, unit converters
- Construction and everyday math: concrete volume, paint area, tips, splits
Why "show your work" matters
A calculator that hides its formula is a slot machine. A calculator that shows the formula is a teacher. If you can see that EMI = P·r·(1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n − 1), you can sanity-check the result — or do it by hand once and never forget it.
The whole site is static and client-side, so it's fast, works offline-friendly, and costs nothing to run.
