This post is hypocrisy in motion because of my own track record, but I'm changing my views! Reformed I swear - there are many many micro optimizations and ways to sound clever, you can cite why X method in JavaScript is bad because of its memory implementation... But is that important? I mean you have GC, we are not writing C here, managing our memory is not actually a real concern unless your running on an N64 or tiny device / in the cloud, we have ample memory budgets.
Is it important is the question you should ask before you open your mouth, could you be using your knowledge to fight bigger more meaningful battles?
