Hey dev community! š
I recently decided to overhaul my personal website to better reflect my journey as a developer, showcase my recent projects, and improve performance.

** š Why the Redesign?**
As developers, our portfolio is often our first impression. My previous site felt a bit outdated and didn't clearly convey what I bring to the table. I wanted a platform that is:
- Fast & Performant: Minimal load times and smooth transitions.
- Clean & Accessible: A modern aesthetic that focuses on user experience.
- Project-Focused: Highlighting real-world applications with links to live demos and source code.
š ļø Tech Stack & Key Features
Here is what powers the new portfolio:
- Frontend: Built with modern component architecture for maximum responsiveness.
- Hosting: Deployed seamlessly on Vercel with continuous deployment from GitHub.
- UX Design: Clean layout, intuitive navigation, and dark mode support.
š” Lessons Learned
Building your own website is always harder than building for others because you are your own worst client! Here are a few key takeaways:
- Keep it simple: Don't overcomplicate the design. Content and readability always come first.
- Optimize performance early: Image optimization and clean code structure pay off immediately in Lighthouse scores.
- Show, don't just tell: Direct links to live projects and GitHub repositories build way more credibility than just listing tech skills.
š I'd Love Your Feedback!
Iām always looking to improve. Please check out the site and let me know your thoughts:
