Download right
Get the x64 build from the download page (ARM64 also available). Don't grab the macOS dmg by mistake.
The admin trap
Right-click → Run as administrator. Codex writes to a protected theme directory. Standard mode fails SILENTLY — no error, just nothing happens.
Apply
Open gallery → pick skin → Apply. Still blank? Flip 'override system theme' in Settings.
