My final year project is Cancer Detection and Analysis using Whole Slide Images. We divided the project into three parts.
Part 1- ROI Extraction:
We extracted Region of Interests from Whole Slide Images using Deep Learning. These ROI were patches of WSI containing the tumor.
Part 2- Cell Extraction:
We trained a MaskRCNN for cell identification and extracted cells from the ROI.
Part3 - Cell classifications
We used multiple classifiers like SVM, ResNet50 e.t.c for the classification of cells into the tumor and non-tumorous cells.
