Why DnB?
Drum & Bass is one of the most technically demanding and creatively rich electronic genres on the planet. It rewards craft. A good DnB mix requires timing, energy management, track selection, and an ear for the crowd.
Skank Bank is built around DnB — it's an AI-generated auction platform where every track is synthesised, bid on, and owned by the community. The competition is a natural extension of that: put the community in the mix.
The Platform Behind It
Skank Bank (https://skankbank.app) is an AI-generated music platform with three things going on at once:
- An auction house — users generate original DnB tracks via AI, then list them for bid. The platform takes 25%, the creator keeps 75%.
- A free library — over 2,400 royalty-free tracks, freely downloadable at skankbank.app/library
- A public growth log — every metric, every experiment, every failure logged at skankbank.app/log
