How I test AI tools before reviewing them (my hands-on process)

I run AIX Radar, an independent site for AI tool reviews. Every review starts the same way: I sign up for the tool myself, run real tasks through it, take real screenshots, and only then write a verdict.

My process:

  1. Sign up like a normal user — no press accounts, no special access.
  2. Run the tool on real work, not demo prompts.
  3. Compare pricing against what you actually get on each plan.
  4. Publish the verdict — what's good, what's not, and what's worth paying for — plus any verified promo codes I find.

No paid rankings and no rewritten press releases. If you want honest, hands-on AI tool reviews, you'll find them at AIX Radar.
