Difference between library and framework?

Library:
⦁ A library allows you to pick and choose what you want.
⦁ EX: like kitchen tools
You have knife, spoon, mixer, grinder and you decide when to use them, how to you them. If you want cut vegetables, you pic the knife.
You are the chef controlling the process.

Framework:
⦁ The framework says here's the foundation(blueprint)now add what you want.
⦁ EX: Restaurant kitchen setup
The kitchen has a structure, and allocate stations for chopping, cooking, plating, rules how to prepare dishes. The kitchen setup tells where you chop, cook plating.
You are the chef following the restaurant rules.
