what is java ?

java is general purpose high level , class based and object oriented programming language develped by james Gosling at sun micro system in 1995 ,Now it was currently owned and maintained by orcale corporation
It core philosophy is "write Once , Run Anywhere "(WORA).

Java Archiecture

• Then the original source code is converted to the byte code with the help of translator , the name of translator is Java Develpement kit(JDK).

Java Develpement kit(JDK)---> (complation):

It compiles the whole human reable code into the machine readable code(binary).
The JDK provides the tools required to develop Java applications.

Just In Time(JIT) --->(Interpretation):

• The JIT compiler is a component of the JVM.
• It converts frequently executed bytecode into native machine code to improve performance.
• It executed code by line by line .
• Used for speed optimization in jvm

Java Runtime Environment(JRE)

• The JRE provides the environment required to run Java applications.
• It includes the JVM and the runtime libraries needed to execute Java programs.

Java Virtual Machine(JVM)

• The JVM executes Java bytecode.
• It converts bytecode into machine code that the computer can execute.
• It helps Java programs run on different operating systems.
