Artificial intelligence has reshaped the discovery funnel. Traditional SEO still matters, but users increasingly rely on AI assistants such as Chat...

Great insight, Love the angle of visibility, not just rankings when it comes to AI search.
What prompts or query types are actually moving the needle for brands?
Like are long-tail product-specific questions more useful than general brand name prompts?

For those experimenting with APIs: connecting AI analytics endpoints to Airtable or PostgreSQL gives a really clean pipeline.

The GEO angle is spot on. I tested the same query in the US and Germany, and the AI outputs were completely different. Localization might be the hardest part here.

Exactly. What you noticed is a key reason why AI analytics needs to account for GEO differences. AI assistants often use region-specific training data or source sets, which means two people asking the same thing can get totally different answers. That’s why tracking mentions per country is so valuable it shows you where your brand is already visible, and where you still need to localize content.

Really enjoyed your piece on AI Search Analytics, this is exactly the kind of thinking we need more of in the wild. I built a tool (ScrumBuddy) using Claude AI precisely to tame chaos: ideas → backlog → UI → backend → GitHub PR. One thing I learned is that solving a real problem for yourself often uncovers patterns and metrics you didn’t think to track until they bite you. What you’re doing with brand mentions, GEO splits, and competitor visibility is super useful, because these are exactly the blind-spots most folks don’t see until the dashboards go dark.

What stands out is not just that you suggest building pipelines to monitor visibility, but that you do so in a way that can be shared and generalized. One thing I’d feed into your journey: when you build out these analytics pipelines, guard the data flow early. Make sure your context sources are stable (same entity names, consistent content structure), and version your “mention contexts” so you can trace back WHY an AI assistant picked your brand in one response vs didn’t in another. That traceability builds trust.

Glad you shared this. The more people build and share tools like this, the more everyone’s ability to meet their own visibility and discovery problems improves.

This feels like the moment SEO realized it’s no longer the main character 😅

We spent years asking, “Why did my CTR drop?” and now the answer is: because the AI already answered the question without us.
Tracking rankings alone feels like checking your position in a race that’s been rerouted.

The breakdown of mentions, context, GEO, and competitors inside AI answers is spot on. If AI doesn’t recognize your brand as a trusted entity, you’re basically shouting into the void — perfectly optimized, beautifully ignored.

The “AI Search Console” idea is fire. Measure where you’re cited, see who’s stealing the spotlight, fix the gaps, repeat. This is the kind of work that’ll separate brands that adapt early from those wandering in 2026 why traffic never came back.

SEO didn’t die, it just learned how to speak AI.

The GEO angle is something I ran into directly building a WordPress plugin. When I tested "best AI search plugin for WooCommerce" across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity — completely different results, different brands mentioned, different framing. Gemini ranked my plugin #1, ChatGPT ignored it entirely. Same product, same content. The difference came down to which platforms had indexed which third-party mentions. Entity consistency and external citations matter more than on-site optimization for AI visibility.

AI search is changing how brands get discovered. Traditional rankings alone don’t show the full picture—tracking AI mentions, citations, and visibility can reveal where your brand appears in AI-generated answers.

For SEO teams and marketers SerpSpur AI Mentions & Citation provides a practical way to monitor AI Visibility Score, total mentions, AI search demand, cited domains, and mentioned brands from one dashboard.

Thank you! 🙌 Really glad you found the list helpful. And thanks for mentioning LLMClicks.ai — that’s an interesting angle. As AI search keeps evolving, tools that help track visibility and performance on that side are becoming more and more valuable. I’ll definitely check it out!
