Data, Apps, and Services are an embracing set of combinations today in the commercial marketplace.

Users use apps and services to make lives more meaningful and relevant to work and contribute to always-on economy

British Mathematician Clive Robert Humby coined the phrase “Data is the new oil.” in 2006. Apps and Services are ways to make data securely available to knowledge workers so that they can perform their daily work more efficiently and effectively. The organizations use Microsoft 365 to streamline knowledge discovery and securely organize, store, and manage content for collaboration and communication. It is a highly extensible development platform. It provides various development models within the platform for building the collaborative app and add-ins to extend Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Office apps, and Teams platforms. These apps can be discovered from AppSource to monetize software and services by ISVs.
