A few months ago, I downloaded Pirates of Silicon Valley from Netflix. There were some really insightful parts in the movie, and now I want to watch it again. The problem is that the file isn’t working anymore. I know I could just download it again, but I’d prefer to fix the issue so that I can download a movie once and have it available anytime I want to watch it. Any recommendations on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated!

I've had this issue too, and it was due to DRM protection. To avoid it, I now use StreamFox for video to download videos for offline watching. It ensures the files stay accessible without expiring and it also allow me to share the downloaded files to any device.
