That "Not my Inbox" concept is super interesting. I definitely see the value in taking away the mental toll of having to catch up/keep up with email.
It reminds me a bit of a tip I heard from before (paraphrasing):
Don't check your email and notifications first thing in the morning. Take ownership of it and do what you need to do for yourself in order to start your day right. Then check what everyone has to tell you.

. I tried it yesterday with my personal inbox and it was slightly scary but freeing to have almost totally clean slate that I could then triage and deal with.
