June was a big month for me since I started working on Invoiso.
I did not just add things. I made it better for businesses that use Invoiso every day. I made it more flexible and reliable.
Here is everything that is new.
🎉 New Features
🖥️ Multiple Dashboard Layouts
I know people work in ways. So I added three layouts for the dashboard:
Classic
Bento
Simple Feed
Users can change the layout from the bar.. People who already use Invoiso will see a message so they do not miss this new option.
📄 Executive PDF Template
I made an invoice template that looks really good.
It has:
A vertical bar on the side
A special section for the company and customer
It is easier to read
It works with the colors the user chooses
🎨 Custom PDF Theme Colors
Invoices do not have to be blue
Users can choose any color they want for their invoices from the settings page.
It is a thing. But it makes invoices feel more personal.
A6 PDF Support
A lot of people asked for this.
Invoiso now works with A6 paper. It makes everything the right size:
The words
The margins
The space between things
It is great for printing invoices and receipts.
✍️ Signature Support
Businesses can now add their signature to invoices.
They can put it on the left or the right.
The signature shows up above the code and bank details.
💰 Previous Balance Carry Forward
If a customer owes money the invoice can now show how much they already owe.
This makes it easier to send bills without having to change the invoice.
🇱🇰 Sri Lankan Rupee Support
I added the Sri Lankan Rupee to Invoiso. It now shows the symbol.
💶 Euro Symbol Improvements
The Euro symbol now looks on all invoice templates.
I checked all the currencies to make sure they look right.
☁️ Cloud Foundation
I started working on the version of Invoiso.
I also added a field for the tax number in the company settings.
✨ UX Improvements
I made a lot of changes to make Invoiso better.
A switch to show the quantity in the Compact template
The save buttons now show when they are working
The logo is in a spot
The margins on the invoices are better
The templates are more consistent
These are not things. But they make Invoiso feel more polished.
🐞 Bug Fixes
I fixed a lot of problems.
A warning when you try to leave a page with an invoice
Some crashes
Some problems with tax calculations
A problem with the database
The reports page not showing the invoices
Some problems with the signature and templates
Some other problems with the interface
What I Learned
The biggest thing I learned is that small changes can add up.
Things like the save buttons working right. The invoices looking good do not get a lot of attention.. They make a big difference for people who use Invoiso every day.
I also learned that making invoices work with paper sizes is harder than I thought.. It makes the code better and easier to work with.

Every new thing I add makes Invoiso a better tool, for businesses.
