AI Team Photoshoots in Minutes, Step by Step
1. Sign up to BetterPic.io
To create an AI photoshoot, head over to BetterPic.io.
Click on “Get started with teams” and sign up.
2. Create your team
Then, create a team. This is your company’s team headshot space where everyone’s photos will eventually end up.
Don’t forget to choose the right industry and the number of employees.
3. Pick your company headshot styles
Choose your team’s photoshoot styles to match the vibe you want to have in them.
I like the “Office” with “Smart Casual” style with a “Navy Blue” color theme. Mix things up if you think it’s too generic.
You can pick up to three styles. Also, you can choose an option to let your employees decide what style they want to rock.
4. Set the team size
Choose the photoshoot package size, that is, how many team members you have. This gives you a total price.
5. Share AI photoshoot links
After you’ve bought the AI photoshoot, you’ll be redirected to your Team Dashboard.
This is where you can send a photoshoot link to your employees.
6. Ask your team to do the photoshoot
After you’ve shared the link, all your team members should go through the AI photoshoot process.
Basically, all they need to do is send a couple of images of themselves to the AI, and that’s it. It takes 5–10 minutes.
The AI then renders a bunch of realistic headshots.
Speaking of which, let me show you some results. First, here are some real images of myself:
Here are the AI-generated headshots:
Isn’t that cool? Versatile, realistic, cheap, time-saving, and whatnot. Love it!
7. Pick favorites
Once the AI headshots are ready, your team should use the like button to pick the best photos to be used. This happens in the headshot results page by hovering over the images:
Your team members’ favorite images appear in your company’s admin dashboard Results section.
All the team members' headshots will be in the same place.
8. Request edits
AI images are a dice roll. Sometimes they work out nicely,y but sometimes there are artifacts.
But this is not a problem with BetterPic.
If your teammates aren’t happy with their headshots, tell them to request an edit from the BetterPic AI team. This happens by clicking the “BP AI Edit” and clicking the “Human Edit.”
BetterPic has a team of professional image editors and they can do wonders on your AI images if they aren’t quite what you’d like.
This way, you’re guaranteed to have at least one good image for every teammate.

Why Create Team Photos with AI
AI photoshoots are a new way of creating photos for your team. Here are some good reasons why you should do this as well:
- Cost-Effective: AI headshots are a lot cheaper than hiring a photographer — especially for bigger teams. There’s no need to book studio time or cover additional costs like makeup and styling.
- Time Savings: With AI headshots, your team does not need to be physically present. That’s epic because with bigger teams (and especially remote ones), there’s rarely a time when everyone is present.
- Customization: You can use AI edits to change backgrounds, lighting, and attire to align with branding without a new photo session — without delays.
- Eco-Friendly: Lastly, AI headshots reduce the environmental footprint because there’s no need for anyone to travel anywhere.
That being said, any logical business should choose AI photoshoots over traditional ones.
It’s just business, after all. It doesn’t matter if your image is real or not, as long as it looks like you. Your team photoshoots don’t capture unique life-changing moments but are more of a formality you just need to have.
But obviously, if it was a wedding photoshoot or something that has to do with real life, then that would be a different story.

3 Reasons to not create AI photoshoots
Of course, you have drawbacks too. Here are some that pop up in my mind:
- Authenticity: Real photos capture unique personality traits and expressions, which (at the time of writing) can be hard to replicate with AI.
- Customization: Professional photographers can make subtle adjustments based on business needs. AI tools are more generic and can struggle to capture a specific mood or theme.
- AI vibe: If you use the wrong AI headshot generator, the AI images will have an “AI vibe,” which gives those images a very unprofessional, generic, and lazy look.
But with the right tool (BetterPic.io), you have full customization options and can take super realistic photos, so none of the above should be an issue.
