posting the thing you wish you'd made.
Measure yourself against them
and you'll always come up short —
because you're comparing your inside
to their outside.
You don't see their years of struggle.
Their false starts.
The help they had that you didn't.
So change who you're racing.
Not them. You. Yesterday's you.
Do you understand something today
you didn't last month?
Did the thing that scared you
get a little smaller?
That's real progress,
and it's the only comparison
that ever made anyone better
instead of just smaller.
Run your own race.
