Look up Quantum Computing and see what it actually is. There is no way to be active developing software for that area yet. Unless you are at a university that actually has a device capable of doing Quantum Computing. And the odds are quite dim on that part.
Anyone can use IBM's Quantum Computer for free and Rigetti's Early prototype (paid) + simulator are available.
It is indeed super early and decades away from being able to have some sort of significant impact but it's a great mental exercise coming from classical computing and trying to understand a totally different computational model.
