Standing in front of the subject of today's test — Audi Q8 e-tron 2024: A Premium Electric SUV Worth Waiting For — the design intent is immediately clear. Every surface serves a purpose, from the sculpted hood lines that manage airflow to the stance that hints at the engineering underneath. It photographs well, but more importantly, it looks right in person, which is a harder trick to pull off.
Performance & Driving Dynamics
Behind the wheel, the story gets better. Throttle response is linear and predictable, the chassis communicates clearly through the steering, and body control over broken surfaces is genuinely impressive for this class. We pushed it hard on our standard test loop — highway, back roads, and one very uncooperative gravel section — and it never broke composure.
