Favourite project was an event management system that created personal schedules for three day networking events in Europe. The project included a event participates user interface that enabled them to make preferences that the system then used to create their itineraries that included:
Travel arrangements (including ground handling)
Accommodation
Seminars
One to one business meetings (based one two sided request based system)
Mealtime seating plans that matched people using the same two sided request based system for one to one meetings
I initially developed the system in 2004; previously took the client 3 days to compile itineraries using a legacy Microsoft Access Database application and didn't get very good match ratios.
First time my system was used got 100% match ratio in less than three minutes and still used today!
