hahah good one!
good.
UUIDs just need to be unique to the file you are using it in.
Lolz....😂
give it more options! I want more options!
We will not communicate with you and I will not use ChatGPT for 50 days
I keep reminding myself “Done” should be named “Done Coding”.
I remember that I worte a library (TypeLib JS), but I think I'd spend more time researching, writing tests and documentation than writing the actual code 😂
I can get behind this 😅
nooooooooooo lol stop it

🤣 Just work on pandas and see this
lol 😂😂😂
Coding, chill music, and coffee! That's what "vibe coding" should mean IMHO.

Let's kick off this week with an awful AI-generated meme
Truly awful this time around
I 100% agree with you, can't you make a better meme using a self-trained ai with checkpoints such as juggernaut XL?
Oh man, this deserves a content warning for real...
OTOH, if this is still the level of AI generation, our job will be still relevant in the foreseeable future.
wat
I feel bad posting so many memes, I'm done now 🥲
It's both. On an endless loop.
Not to be that guy, but he's not really wrong about the productivity increase. As for being replaced. Copilot cannot keep any kind of complex state management straight for long, regardless of model. And it's knowledge cuttoff makes it years behind the curve. If you want to build reliable, modern, future-proof software you need a Software Architect not an algorithm. That being said, I started using Copilot as a supplemental tool two months ago and have never been more productive in my entire life. I have polished old libraries by adding tests and documentation. I have completed stale projects that simply got boring and left to rot. I have learned new tricks and even an entirely new language (C#). It has helped me to quickly analyze and fix bugs in 3rd party packages. And let's face it, "vibe" coder's always existed, now they just have AI to search stackoverflow for them. If your company thinks you can be replaced by an executive with a ChatGPT subscription, then they never valued you to begin with. Time to find an new job and let their company crumble. But if your employer just wants you to use AI assistance, maybe give it a try before judging it too harshly. I was vehemently against the idea at first too but after seeing the results I am shocked at my own past self's attitude.
please move away from my urinal
ChatGPT can help you stay ahead in the paragraph game. Cheers!
Nah buddy that's all me. Been writing walls of text for years.
Clearly you did not understand, so here it is: Ask ChatGPT to teach you how to separate sentences into paragraphs.
I wasn't writing an article, it was a comment. Clearly you are not familiar with essay writing. My paragraph has this structure: topic, supporting details, conclusion. It is a mini-essay. A broad and complex view summarized in a single paragraph. Sure, it ran on a little long, but it is proper English. In academic papers a single paragraph could be 200-300 words, my final count 229.
I hate to be that guy, but boy, are you contradicting yourself. You can throw synonyms all over the place: This is a comment section. Sure, no limits on comments, but you state "it was a comment", and then you state " it is a mini-essay". So which is it?
Yes, essays, articles and the like tend to have more lines per paragraph, but you missed the practical thumb of rule of catering for the audience. We're not here for the mini-essays, we're here for the memes. Short paragraphs.
And in case you are wondering, I did not read your mini-essay/comment just because it was one long paragraph.
Awfully presumptuous of you to speak for everyone here. If you just come here for memes that's fine. But meme's are not just jokes, they are a window into the overall mood of the community. And sometimes discussing them helps us grow and move past the issues. Some of the best discussions I've had on this site started from commenting on memes and most of my comments are well liked. So I will continue to post walls of text when I feel like doing so and you can go ahead and mark them as low quality, if you have moderator privileges. I certainly have done so to yours which are borderline going against dev.to Code of Conduct.
Is it presumptuous of me to expect that people reading comments on an article called "Meme Monday" came to read memes and not insightful, philosophical comments? Or is it logical? Hmmmm, I wonder.
Please, by all means, continue with what you do, don't mind me at all. I am glad your comments are well liked. Good for you! I guess I just got lucky here, in this particular thread, where you have collected none.
66.666?!?
That's a reference to the book of Revelation from the Bible btw.
why did vertical won?
I don't think it was about winning. Horizontal was clearly higher hertz.
*ding sound*
Believe it or not, I discovered the meaning of vibe coding through this meme.
Same unfortunately
And that ThinkPad will probably outlive you.
Ouch, this one hit me square in the face.
Sunshine and rainbows :)

"I don't know if this works, but let's try."
You don't have to ask, just try it yourself and you'll figure it out.
What? I code on windows every day and I'm still completely sane. It's not hard either. At least for me.
That's good for you, I can just say it's not my experience.
This is sad lol
ops, I use DEV's logo to create Ghibli-style pictures, why is this effect?
I'm using ghibli-ai.app/
