Hello! I'm Rasheed, a .NET enthusiast who's constantly looking for new things to learn and forget, that's why I started writing in the first place, but I love writing tho :-)
Or when there are API docs but they are so badly written and take an eternity to load from a Wiki that they might as well not exist yet they show up as the number one search result on Google.
...okay, the code's really not THAT bad, but I did get a momentary heart attack because I thought I found a bug (turns out past-me did something right!)
Sure. It'll be right up there with the future documentary "Extreme Ironing: The Mountaineers."
Extreme Programming should really be about writing software while rock climbing, surfing, horseback riding, etc. If people can iron a t-shirt while skydiving, writing working application code should be just as doable in similar scenarios. A laptop would be obvious to haul around but computer systems come in all shapes and sizes these days. Can you imagine someone hauling a server rack up and yeeting it out of an airplane just to do some "cloud programming?"
I think I may be one of those. I've been in Java for a decade and a half after 25+ years in C and assembly. I sometimes want to go home. #pointersmaketheworldgoround
Head of Software @Holaluz, trying to create a better future for everyone. Looking to share ideas, knowledge & code. Before: @Thoughtworks @ClimatePartner

Missing the three rounds of somehow making the problem worse first.

Rust is incredibly frustrating when I was getting started (one of the few languages I tried learning on my own outside of university or the likes)
Guyz it's not what u think
hahaha
