Working On a React / Python Flask Back End Web App.

I am currently working on a web app, my goal is to learn how to use the python that I have learnt in a real world application, I am also integrating some Google APIs into the app. My other objective with the app is to learn React JS, I have been learning the fundamentals recently on MDN and some parts are easier to learn and some are have steep learning curves. Any advice in regards to the project would be appreciated.
