Plain-English IUL
Indexed Universal Life gets explained in jargon that makes it harder to evaluate.
Plain version:
- Life insurance policy
- Cash value grows linked to a market index (usually S&P 500)
- Has a floor (no principal loss in down markets)
- Has a cap (you don't capture all upside)
- Tax-advantaged growth
