Simplify & Speak – A Chrome Extension That Makes Complex Text Easy to Understand

What I Built

I built a Chrome Extension called Simplify & Speak.

It helps users — especially kids, language learners, and anyone struggling with English — to:

• Select any complex English text from a webpage

• Automatically simplify it using Gemini AI

• Listen to the simplified version using Murf AI's text-to-speech

This makes it easier for people to understand and learn, even if the original content is tough.

How I Used Murf API

• I used Murf's Text-to-Speech (TTS) API to convert the simplified sentence into natural-sounding audio.

• The voices are natural and high quality, perfect for learning use cases.
