After nearly three decades dedicated to architecture, with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering to my name, I embarked on a transformative journey at the age of 54 (as of 2024). The familiar became mundane, and a yearning for challenge, for innovation, beckoned me towards a new horizon. Thus, I chose to pivot my career into the expansive and ever-evolving realm of Information Technology.
The adage 'each crazy man with his own obsession' resonates deeply with me, especially here in Brazil where this expression is a testament to the unique passions that drive us. My obsession? An insatiable curiosity and a fervent desire to learn, to deconstruct and reconstruct—from radios to motorcycles, computers to microcircuits.
Motivated by this intrinsic passion for discovery, I made the bold decision to return to the academic world. Currently, I am immersing myself in the study of Computer Science, eager to wake up earlier each day, fueled by the prospect of acquiring new knowledge and skills.
This journey is more than a career shift; it is a quest for motivation, for challenges that stimulate and invigorate. I look forward to contributing to and learning from this vibrant community, as I navigate the complexities of IT with the same enthusiasm and dedication that I have applied to every endeavor in my life.
