I've tried firebase, here is my opinion:

First I got this youtube recommendation of firebase, since I'm way better at frontend than backend, I do not know how to use SQL or anything like that, so firebase would help me to create a quick and simple database.

So after a day after using firebase I could quickly save data in my real time database. And after a week I had the skill to make a chatting app. So that is why I love firebase, you do not need to be a god to use it (plus, it is quickly to set up and pick up).
