When I first started working I never quite understood how people ended up with work friends. I would meet up with the friends I had had for years... fast forward a decade and I definitely have more contact with colleagues I don’t even work with more than those old friends!
It doesn’t matter where or when you became friends, but it’s important to have some I think.
