Just got a loan and I'm still shaken

Last week, I suddenly needed ₱5,000 because my brother's car broke down and he couldn't get to work. I knew I had to act fast, so I tried applying for a loan from one of the banks near my place. But, of course, they rejected me because my credit score wasn't good enough. I was so stressed out - I didn't know where to get the money from.

I started searching online for other options and found some lenders that offered quick cash loans. But the interest rates were crazy high - some of them were charging up to 20% per month! I was worried that I'd end up paying more than twice the amount I borrowed. I felt frustrated, like I was being taken advantage of.

A few days ago, I was talking to a friend who had gone through a similar situation, and she told me about this website https://www.creditkaagapay.com/ that helps you check your credit score for free. I decided to give it a try, and it was actually really helpful. I found out that my credit score wasn't as bad as I thought, and I could potentially qualify for better loan rates.

I also stumbled upon this article https://www.creditkaagapay.com/blog/gcash-credit-philippines-2026-fast-5000-pesos-loan/ that explained how GCash credit works and how to choose the best lender for your needs. It was really informative, and I learned a lot about the different options available.

In the end, I was able to find a lender that offered a relatively low interest rate - 6% per month, which is still high, but better than the other options I found. I was relieved that I could finally get the money my brother needed, but I'm still worried about how I'll pay it back. I'm trying to be more careful with my finances now, and I'm hoping that I won't have to go through this again anytime soon.

Just sharing in case this helps someone who's going through a similar situation. Has anyone else had to deal with emergency loans? How did you handle it?
