Very very off topic. But what is the significance of .to in dev.to? Why not any other TLD or other domain?
Is it registered in Tonga?

to in dev.to means together , community of developers
Just like the .io domain, .to began being used by tech startups. Its easy to remember and TO its a preposition in English which can help.
But that's my guess.
Never seen any other startups using .to
Maybe I missed a lot
