How I'm letting users shape my product roadmap (and why you should too)

I launched CloudWise AI Copilot yesterday - an AI assistant that explains AWS costs in plain English.

The early feedback has been incredible. But one piece of feedback stood out:

One of the users, Soham Das, suggested that the AI should be able to generate charts on demand, because business stakeholders understand visuals better than text.

Brilliant idea. I'm building it immediately.

This is what I love about building in public:

  • Ship an MVP
  • Talk to users daily
  • Build what they actually need (not what you think they need)
  • Give them credit publicly

The feature launches in 2 weeks, and I'm calling it "Soham Charts" in his honor.

If you're building a product, I highly recommend this approach. Your users will tell you exactly what to build next - you just have to listen.

What's the best feature idea you've gotten from a user?
