Four models get most of the attention in AI video right now, and they are genuinely different tools. We run all of them inside ReelMint, where every plan can use every model, so we see the same prompts go through each one every day. This is the practical comparison we give people who ask "which one?", with length, audio, resolution and price side by side.
The short version
- Seedance 2.5 (ByteDance): up to 30 seconds with native audio at 1080p. The best all-rounder for story clips and image-to-video. Our free examples use it for the Lisbon street scene and the puppy.
- Kling 3.0 Omni (Kuaishou): native voices, 720p up to 4K, up to 15 seconds, strong with people and dialogue. If you need a character to speak on camera, start here.
- Wan 3.0 (Alibaba): up to 30 seconds with native audio from text, an image, or a reference clip plus up to ten reference stills. The one to pick when you want to film a new clip "like this one", or restyle with a consistent cast.
- Veo 3.1 (Google): the Lite tier gives 720p clips with audio at a modest price; the full tiers are the most cinematic but the dearest per second.
Length and audio
Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 are the two 30-second models. If your piece needs a beginning, middle and end in one shot, they save you a multi-scene stitch. Kling 3.0 caps at 15 seconds but its native voices are the most natural when a person is speaking to camera. Veo 3.1 makes 8-second clips with sound; longer pieces are sequences.
Resolution
Kling 3.0 Omni goes to 4K natively. Seedance 2.5 is 1080p. Wan 3.0 and Veo 3.1 Lite are 720p by default, with upscale passes available afterwards. For Shorts and Reels, 720p on a phone is indistinguishable from 1080p; save the 4K for a product film on a big screen.
What each one costs
In ReelMint the price is printed on the Generate button before you click, derived from the provider's real cost. Veo 3.1 Lite is by far the cheapest of the four per 10-second clip; Seedance 2.5, Wan 3.0 and Kling 3.0 sit in the low hundreds of credits, and Kling 3.0 Omni at 4K and Veo 3.1 Quality are the dearest. The models page has the exact credits per resolution, and the plans start at Lite, $9.99 a month for 800 credits, with every model on every plan.

How to decide in one minute
- Someone talks to camera: Kling 3.0.
- A 20 to 30 second story in one take: Seedance 2.5, or Wan 3.0 if it starts from a reference clip.
- Animate a photo: Seedance 2.5 first, Grok Imagine if you want it cheap.
- Cinematic landscape with sound, short: Veo 3.1.
- Not sure: generate a 15-credit draft on a cheap model to lock the motion, then rerun once on the flagship.
See them before you pay
The free examples include a finished clip from each of these models with the prompt attached, and a new account can claim them with no card. Watch the Tokyo chef (Kling 3.0 Omni), the surf barrel (Wan 3.0) and the puppy (Seedance 2.5) back to back and you will have a better opinion than any benchmark can give you.
