Most NFTs now have a utility beyond the image or content itself. Think of it as different alternative to the stock market. Often they come with their own form of cryptocurrency that has a value that grows and changes similar to stocks.
There is a lot of speculation around exactly what the "point" is. DeFi (Decentralized Finance) aims to shit away from the "stock market" structure, with large corporation monopolies. Things like DAOs give people actual control over decisions of where they are investing their money.
It's definitely worth looking more into if it's something you're interested in. Plus, we'll have lots of interesting content coming soon.
