Why do you hate frontend developers?

Every time a new LLM drops, the dev community goes into a frenzy.
Among all the noise, one topic consistently steals the spotlight:

"AI is getting so good at frontend that frontend developers will soon be extinct!"

I’ve been seeing this same headline for two years straight now.
At this point, it feels like the subtext is actually:

"Frontend devs are useless. Isn't it about time they disappeared?"

And yet, here we are two years later, and frontend developers are still very much alive. Why is that?
