The moment you steer, it lets go. In our tests, a pilot holding only forward finishes the main circuit and each of 30 generated Daily Circuits.
Gates that face the racing line
Gates first faced the next gate. On the loop's sharp turns that meant crossing the gate plane 31 studs from its centre, outside the 20-stud ring, so a clean line could miss. Each gate now faces the average of the way in and the way out.
Daily courses that are always flyable
The Daily Circuit flies the loop in reverse and moves every gate by offsets seeded from the UTC day. Some early legs dropped 159 studs over 284 studs of flight, which no car can make at cruise speed. Gate heights are now relaxed toward their neighbours until no leg is steeper than a 0.25 slope.
Bumps, not crashes
Hitting a tower pushes the car off the wall, keeps 55% of its speed and slides it along the surface, with a short wobble and a camera shake. Nobody dies or gets ejected, which keeps short laps feeling fair.
Testing the feel outside Studio
- Every feel number (speed, banking, boost, assist, chase camera) lives in a pure Luau module with no engine types, so unit tests run it in a Luau VM.
- A static check validates every service, class, property, method and enum name against Roblox's API dump.
- A smoke test runs the whole place in a strict engine mock built from that dump, which errors on any unknown member.
A mock only approximates physics, rendering and touch layout, so playing on Roblox stays the final test.
