MyZubster: A Cyclical Ecosystem Connecting Marketplace, Community and Metaverse

MyZubster: A Cyclical Ecosystem Connecting Marketplace, Community and Metaverse
MyZubster is being developed as an open ecosystem where digital experiences, local communities, creative subcultures, education and circular economic activity can interact within the same platform.
At the centre of this system is a simple idea: every useful activity can generate another useful activity.
A person may discover a local producer, purchase kefir or another community-made product, find equipment for an underground cultural event, request university support, repair an existing object, locate a recycling service or enter the MyZubster Metaverse to explore the ecosystem visually.
Instead of treating these activities as separate services, MyZubster connects them through a cyclical journey:
Discover → Connect → Exchange → Use → Learn → Repair → Reuse → Recover → Share
The MyZubster Marketplace
The Marketplace is the practical economic layer of the ecosystem. It is designed to help people discover products, skills and services while keeping seller information, availability, provenance and verification transparent.
The current Marketplace demo explores areas such as:

  • local food and independent producers;
  • kefir and fermented products;
  • underground and alternative culture;
  • sound-system equipment and event services;
  • art, design and independent creative work;
  • university and educational assistance;
  • technical and digital services;
  • repair and reuse;
  • recycling and material recovery;
  • sustainable products and everyday goods. It demonstrates how MyZubster can connect small-scale production, food culture, education and local exchange. A producer could present their products and explain their production methods. A customer could discover that producer through the Marketplace, learn about fermentation and responsible consumption, and later reuse or correctly recycle the packaging. This creates a small but understandable circular process: Local production → informed purchase → consumption → container reuse → recycling or recovery MyZubster does not automatically certify health benefits, food safety or production standards. These claims require appropriate evidence and regulatory compliance from the responsible producer. The platform’s role is to make information, provenance and evidence easier to inspect. Underground and Subcultural Communities Independent music, underground culture, alternative art and community events often exist outside conventional commercial platforms. MyZubster can provide optional infrastructure through which these communities can discover:
  • artists and independent creators;
  • DJs, musicians and performers;
  • sound-system equipment;
  • rehearsal and event services;
  • graphic designers and visual artists;
  • repair services for audio equipment;
  • venues, workshops and cultural initiatives;
  • reused clothing, records and creative materials. The objective is not to control or commercialize underground culture. It is to help independent communities organize, collaborate and remain visible on their own terms. A sound system, for example, can move through several stages: Purchase → event use → maintenance → repair → resale → reuse → component recovery This is where culture and the circular economy become part of the same system. University and Educational Assistance MyZubster can also connect students with people offering legitimate educational support. Potential services include:
  • tutoring and subject explanations;
  • language practice;
  • programming assistance;
  • document formatting;
  • research-method guidance;
  • portfolio and presentation support;
  • study groups and collaborative projects;
  • guidance toward internships and open-source contributions. Educational assistance should support learning rather than academic dishonesty. The system must not be used to impersonate students, complete prohibited examinations or submit deceptive work. Within the MyZubster cycle, a student can receive guidance and later return value to the community by tutoring another learner, contributing to an open-source project or responsibly sharing documented knowledge. The educational cycle becomes: Learn → practise → contribute → document → teach → create new opportunities The MyZubster Metaverse The Metaverse is the visual and social exploration layer of the ecosystem. Enter Neon Plaza: 🪐 https://www.myzubster.com/metaverse?utm_source=social&utm_medium=dev_post&utm_campaign=metaverse_circular_ecosystem&utm_content=metaverse Visitors can currently:
  • create and move a character;
  • enter as a guest or use an account-linked character;
  • see other active visitors;
  • communicate through chat and emotes;
  • discover nearby participants;
  • visit ecosystem portals;
  • explore Marketplace and project areas;
  • complete an initial exploration mission;
  • retain visited-zone progress;
  • discover experimental virtual rooms. Verified characters are linked to authenticated MyZubster accounts. A name supplied by a browser is not automatically treated as identity evidence. Server-side controls separate verified platform relationships from arbitrary usernames. Mission progress for account-linked characters can be stored on the server. Guest progress remains limited to the visitor’s browser. The Metaverse remains an evolving prototype. Experimental features are identified as such and should not be interpreted as legal identity verification, professional certification or financial rewards. MyZubster Visual MyZubster Visual connects illustrated stories, visual content and interactive popups with the wider ecosystem. Visual experiences can help explain complex subjects such as:
  • circular production;
  • environmental projects;
  • community participation;
  • repair and reuse;
  • character identities;
  • the relationship between physical and digital activities. Interactive popups make it possible to provide additional context without interrupting the main visual journey. They can connect stories with relevant Marketplace categories, project documentation and Metaverse portals. This turns visual storytelling into an entry point for participation rather than an isolated gallery. Connecting the Marketplace and Metaverse The Marketplace contains structured information: categories, listings, sellers, services and circular pathways. The Metaverse provides a visual and social way to discover and navigate that information. For example, a visitor could:
  • Enter Neon Plaza with their character.
  • Discover a portal dedicated to local producers.
  • Open the Marketplace and find a kefir producer.
  • Learn about the product and its provenance.
  • Purchase or contact the seller through an authorized process.
  • Return packaging for reuse or recovery.
  • Document the circular journey.
  • Share the experience with the community. Another visitor could discover an underground event, locate sound equipment, hire a repair specialist and later resell or recycle components through the same ecosystem. A university student could enter a learning space, find tutoring, contribute to an open-source project and eventually offer their own verified skills through the Marketplace. A System Designed as a Cycle MyZubster is not intended to be only a shop or a virtual world. Its purpose is to connect different stages of participation: REAL NEED ↓ MARKETPLACE DISCOVERY ↓ PRODUCT, SERVICE OR EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT ↓ USE AND COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE ↓ REPAIR, REUSE OR KNOWLEDGE SHARING ↓ RECOVERY AND DOCUMENTED CONTRIBUTION ↓ NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN THE MARKETPLACE AND METAVERSE Each component can support the next:
  • local products support local economic activity;
  • education creates new skills;
  • skills generate services and contributions;
  • culture creates collaboration;
  • repair extends product life;
  • reuse reduces unnecessary waste;
  • recovery returns materials to productive use;
  • visual stories make the system easier to understand;
  • the Metaverse makes these pathways easier to explore. The long-term vision is a connected digital and physical ecosystem where communities can discover opportunities, exchange value, learn, collaborate and document circular activity. MyZubster is building this system openly and progressively. Experimental concepts, verified evidence and operational services must remain clearly distinguishable.
