Why I'm Pausing One Path—But Not the Project

Why I'm Pausing One Path—But Not the Project

Open-source development isn't always about moving as fast as possible.

Sometimes it's about choosing the right direction.

Over the past few weeks, I've been exploring different architectural scenarios for MyZubster, including examples involving multiple countries and digital asset tokenization.

Those examples were created to explore technical possibilities, not to represent real deployments.

Why I'm Pausing One Scenario

I've decided to pause further work related to the China demonstration scenario.

Not because the technology doesn't work.

But because I want to better understand the legal and regulatory landscape before continuing with ideas connected to that jurisdiction.

As a developer, I believe it's important to know when to ask for expert advice.

Technology can move quickly.

Responsible development sometimes moves more carefully.

This Doesn't Mean Development Stops

The good news is that MyZubster is much more than a single feature.

While I wait for legal guidance, I'll continue working on the parts of the ecosystem that are completely independent of any specific country.

That includes:

improving the MyZubster Marketplace;
expanding the Gateway APIs;
refining the mobile application;
adding new Telegram Bot features;
improving documentation;
fixing bugs and optimizing performance;
welcoming new open-source contributors.

There is still a lot to build.

Building the Foundation First

One lesson I've learned during this journey is that strong projects aren't built only by adding features.

They're built by creating solid foundations.

A better marketplace.

Cleaner APIs.

Better documentation.

A smoother mobile experience.

These improvements benefit everyone, regardless of where they are in the world.

Open Source Is a Marathon

One advantage of open source is that progress doesn't depend on a single milestone.

Every bug fixed, every pull request merged, every new feature documented makes the project stronger.

Sometimes the most valuable work happens behind the scenes.

Looking Ahead

Pausing one technical scenario doesn't change the vision behind MyZubster.

It simply means choosing to move forward responsibly.

The marketplace continues to evolve.

The mobile application continues to improve.

The Telegram Bot continues to grow.

The Gateway continues to become more complete.

The journey is far from over.

Sometimes, the smartest way to keep moving forward is to pause one road, strengthen the others, and come back with a better understanding of what comes next.

That's exactly what I'm doing with MyZubster.
